Lofty The Lion Kicks Off The Jolly Jungle Fete Of Song and Dance

Lofty the lion was always moody

To avoid talking, he roamed around in a hoody.

No one ever saw Lofty jump and play

Or frisk and frolic in the clay.

With his angry stare and a loud roar,

He scared everyone away, including the boar.

The deer, the monkey, the rabbit,

And any other animal, you name it!

Lofty did not like to have fun,

Or so believed everyone.

Until one day Lofty stepped on something,

Out of nowhere, a swift note la, la la la la, did ring.

What a strange noise he thought in awe,

As he lifted up his paw.

La la la, Paa Paa, Pa Paa Paa echoed all around,

A music player lost in the jungle he had found!

Soon, Lofty was laughing and twirling,

To the music, he was dancing and swirling!

He jumped and clapped, and zig-zagged to the song,

As Little Froggie joined him and hopped along.

Soon, there was a jolly jungle fete,

As the mongoose joined in with its mate!

The birds, the monkeys, began to prance,

And even the leopards started to dance!

Shaking their bodies and wriggling their hips,

With wings flapping and tails swishing like whips!

Sounds of music and laughter filled the air,

As the animals partied and had fun without a care.

Lofty the lion was grumpy no more,

Loved by his new friends, in delight did he roar!

ROAR, ROAR!!!
