When my daughter was just 9 yrs old, she gifted me this coin purse and card on my birthday. Since she neither had money nor the courage to go out alone and buy me a gift, she decided to create my gifts herself. She has used waste material from home to make these awesome priceless treasures. My most valuable gifts which are now in my bank locker.

I have a treasure box full of love, joy and happiness crafted by tiny hands and which cannot be replaced even by the most expensive thing in the world. The little cards, small crafts , handmade gifts given to me by my daughters since they were very young. I have stored them in a box which I call my treasure of love.

As a child, you loved stories, devoured cookies and brownies; Played in the snow, loved modelling dough; Smeared yourself with ketchup, would not mind drinking it from a cup; Hooked to building blocks and Scrabble, art projects you liked to dabble;
Bubble baths and scavenger hunts you fancied, space and dinosaurs you adored, Puzzles fascinated you, performed magic tricks too, Football and table tennis you delighted in, taught you to handle loss or win, Books are still your best friends, your tryst with music never ends. I saw the world through your eyes, when I am with you, time flies.

The one biggest treasure I received from my Mom is definitely courage;the courage to face any type of situation ,to stand for ourselves and never to loose hope. I'm so proud of this beign acquiring this quality from my mom and the little treasure I have with me is this cute little dress,which happened to be my very first dress bought by my grandfather.She kept this very safely in her wardrobe as a memory;her first child's first dress and she gifted this to me when my daughter was born and this was her first dress too.I will be treasuring this in the same way.For us this is not just a simple dress it's an emotion.(The age of the dress is 35yrs:)

My Amma is epitome of love ,patience ,forgiveness.....Mother's love is felt more when I became mother . The most memorable event of event of my mother's life is during her daughter 's baby shower . The snap is taken during time of baby showering of my first pregnancy .My presented me gift of ear stud ...this treasure of love for me and this gift always brings warm memories .She took lot of care during pregnancy time and after that nourishing her grandchild , preparing medicine for me, bathing the baby . At present she guides me in all steps of my life ...With gratitude in my heart ....I always love you Amma.

A teacher by profession,a multi talented, multi tasking lady who could play the Veena skillfully,a Hindi Pandit,a Carnatic singer,a person who could create beautiful dresses. She became a teacher due to necessity but discovered her joy and purpose in it.Even during her most challenging days,she offered free tuitions to the needy and the deserving.I never saw her resting. She worked 24×7 but was always available to us.I owe my mom for my perseverance, determination, hard work, spirituality,work ethics and love for nation. I love you mom and am ever thankful to you. I have attached the picture of my am immensely proud of my mom. When I hear the word 'Amma' the first thing that comes in my mind is her patience ,positive attitude and her radiant smile. She always tried to give the best of everything for me . Infact whichever class I joined she used to put a 'pilayar suzhi' whether it was dance, music , painting land other art forms that I learnt.vi was pampered being a single child and was not so responsible until a dooma day when my mom passed away. Even in her death bed she encouraged me to pursue my higher studiestill she breathed last . She always wanted me to shine like a star band Ialso gave that for my parents and made them happy. Every wedding day and on her b'day unused to buy gifts after I started earning. My Amma was really proud of me , but when she passed away she expressed in her eyes that she could not get me married and complete her responsibility. But what she wished for came true. My mom is truly an epitome of goddess Annapoorane and that her name. She was awesome in cooking and the aroma wud reach in and around. Even the small cup of tea that she makes. I am happy that my mom is still there with me and now that I am taking care of her in the form my girl child reborn on the same date my mother left this world. Love u loads Amma!!
