My experience in cooking with millet

I like to experiment something new innovative and tasty in my cooking.

My mom was preparing a sweet callled "Halbai" a traditional dish done using rice, coconut and Jaggery.



Haring from all that millets are good I thoight to use "little millet" instead of rice.

It worked and I was able to prepare the dish without any change in its taste. No one came to know that it was done using millet.

Procedure:

  Soak the millet for sometime and then grind it with coconut.

Heat jaggery with little water, then add the mix that was ground.

Stir it well till halwa consistancy then pour it on greased plate. Cutit to the required shape.
