As a parents, it's difficult to compete with the screen games, videos, and endless scrolling can so easily capture our kids' attention. But in our hearts, we all want our kids to become curious, creative, and confident in their own abilities.
I'm seeking advice, suggestions, or ideas from other parents:
I'd also love to know what has worked for you! Let's support each other in raising children who don't just passively consume content, but create, discover, and build every day.

Honestly? Kids today have two moods: “I’m bored” and “Where’s my tablet?”
Being a Mom of a 9-year-old son, I have some advice for all. First, you are not a super mom who teaches everything at once.
Developing a learning behavior was a cumbersome task for me. He felt bored with the homework, and always wanted a phone for gaming, socializing, and YouTube.
There are various things you can do to develop learning behavior…
Try turning learning into “secret fun.” Or you can indulge them in activities like Mini science experiments, fun quizzes at dinner, or letting them “teach you” something new.
The method that works for me is "To Do and Win". It’s like completing homework and getting a snack reward. Before you know it, they’ll look at books the way they look at snacks.
The last option you have to discuss openly about what is right for them, or tryna find ways to limit their screen activity - last resort option 😣
Nowadays, there are built-in parental controls in smartphones to limit the child's screen time. Also, there are third-party parenting monitoring tools that can help limit your child's mobile phone activity. But now I am quite open to my kid and want him to feel he is under control. So, I stopped using them now - you know, there are more ways to convince your children rather than controlling.
