Hello all,
I could connect your conversations with my experience and it took back some 11 years ago.
Those memories brings joy now.
But it was a tough during those days.

Hi Preethi,
I think it's okay to give her time. Though each child is different. The first thing I started with my kid was making a routine of going to the potty. For example, post the morning milk, I used to take my kid to the loo and sit with them and talk...just light-hearted fun talk.
Initial days were tough but slowly and steadily the routine paid off.
Also, I never used a separate potty chair that can be kept anywhere and everywhere in the house, there are potty seats for toddlers that you can put on the adult seat.
Also, when you are feeling the urge, demonstrate it to them that you are going to the loo....kids do observe and learn from it.
Rest be patient with them and yourself... it's a task that they have to learn out of their comfort zone...so support them :)

@Manya
My little boy don't like potty and most of the time, he pees on his trousers. However, I shall try your methods; demonstrating them to go to loo, potty seats at adult seat. Thanks Manya!
