Simple vanilla sponge cake

12tbsp atta / maida
12tbsp sugar
4 eggs
250gms butter(unsalted)
1tsp vanilla essence
1/2tsp baking powder

Preheat oven at 180degrees
Grease the baking utensils with butter
Mix all above ingredients and pour batter into big cake tin or cupcake tin or even bundt tin
Bake at 180degrees for 20-25mins depending on the oven wattage. We used a convection microwave.
Decorate to your liking n enjoy.

Preheat oven to 200 degrees C. Line an eight inch tin with parchment paper and set aside. 2. Sieve flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder and salt and set aside. 3. Mix together milk and vinegar and set aside for a few minutes. 4. Cream together butter and sugar and add the greek yogurt and vanilla extract to this and give it another whisk. 5. Add half the flour mixture and mix. Mix in the milk and vinegar mixture, and then add the remaining flour mixture and fold gently, making sure not to over mix. 6. Pour into the prepared tin and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, reducing the temperature to 180 degrees C and baking for another 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. 7. Add ? cup finely chopped onion, 1 to 2 green chilies (finely chopped) and 3 tsp oil. 3. Mix very well. 4. Then add cup water. 5. Begin to mix and knead the dough. 6. Add more water as required and knead to a smooth soft dough. Overall I added cup water. The amount of water required depends on the quality of flour. So you can add ? to cup water or more if required. if dough becomes sticky, then then add some more flour. if the dough looks dry, then add a bit of water. 7. Allow the dough to rest for 10 minutes and then make medium sized balls from the dough. 8. Take the dough ball on the rolling board. Dust some whole wheat flour on both sides of the ball. 9. Roll to a circle of about 5 to 6 inches. Sprinkle some more flour if required while rolling. Roll to medium thick rotis. 10. Place the roti on a hot tawa. the tawa should be hot and not at a low temperature. 11. When the base is partially cooked, flip the roti. 12. Spread to 1 tsp or oil on the partly cooked part. We always use oil while roasting missi roti. But you can use ghee also. 13. When the second side is cooked and brown spots can be seen, then flip again. spread some to 1 tsp oil on this side too. 14. Flip again. 15. Press the edges with a spatula so that the sides are also cooked well. 16. Flip once or twice more, so that the roti is evenly cooked. 17. All purpose flour 1+1/4 cup

Method

Take a mixing bowl add oil and egg mix it well, add curd mix well, add sugar and make a lumps free battar . Add salt , baking powder, nutmeg powder,flour and make a soft dough , keep it aside for 30 minutes.
Now roll out the dough into thick layer and cut the Doughnuts shapes with the help of a bowl. Deepfry the Doughnuts on the midium heated oil from both the sides untill they become golden brown.
For the chocolate syrup take 2 tbs of powdered sugar, 2 tbs of Coco powder and 1 tbs of milk mix them well.
For the pink syrup take 2 tbs of powdered sugar add a pinch of red food colour mix it well with 1 tbs of milk.
Now Dip the Doughnuts from one side into the syrups and the Doughnuts are ready to serve.

This is gobhi danthal pulao with beetroot dip and zeera chicken with sweet cardamom peda lassi ...... The pulao is zero waste pulao with gobhi and danthal I have used beetroot skin and blanched it and dried it to make beetroot salt For gobhi pulao 1 tbsp Ghee Vegetable oil for frying 2 cups Gobhi/Cauliflower Cut into small heads 3-4 Clove 1 tsp Zeera 1 cup Long grain basmati rice Salt to taste 2 tbsp Golden fried onions 2 tbsp Mint leaves Chopped Instructions Wash the rice and soak in enough water for 20 minutes. Heat vegetable oil in a pan. Once the oil is hot, add gobhi and fry until golden brown. Strain and keep aside. Heat ghee in a pan. Once the chicken is dried up, add lemon juice and toss well.

Serve.
For beetroot dip
Take 1 beet root boil it and peel the skin and grate it...
Take hung curd and mix it with some salt and pepper
Now take mustard oil and heat it and add curry leaves and mustard seeds and add to the curd as tempering....

For lassi
Beat thick yogurt and sugar and add cardamom powder and peda ( indian sweet ) and mix it and serve cold .......

Take out the mixture in a container or mould refregirate it for half hour cut in to pieces . Take a small pan 1 cup milk add sugar 1 tablespoon add zafron mix it and pour it on the halwa . Here is the brief steps: Required ingredients: 2 Eggs, 150 gram al purpose flour , vanilla powder extract (pinch), 1 tablespoon butter, 50 gram baking powder, 150 gram powdered sugar Mix the egg and butter , blend well. Add vanilla extract, baking powder, flour and finally sugar. Mix it with blender without any strain..Take the cupcake holder with your preferred cupcake paper mould.Pour the mix into the cake plate and keep it in oven( we use gas oven) for 30 minutes. Eggless Triple Decker Fudgy Chocolate Cookies



INGREDIENTS

100 grams softened salted butter

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup castor sugar

1/4cup condensed milk

150 grams dark choc 60 grams melted , 40 grams mixed with 2 tbsp hot water , 50 grams coarsely chopped chocolate

2 tbsp cold milk

1+3/4 cup flour

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2tsp salt

2tsp vanilla essence

PREPARATION

1.

For the choco chunk mixture , cream 50 grams of softened butter with both the type of sugars for 5 mins .

2.

Add the vanilla and cold milk and beat again .

3.

Sift 1 cup of flour along with 1/4tsp each of baking powder and baking soda and salt.

4.

Add the coarsely chopped choclaate and make a soft cookie dough .

5.

Cover the dough with a cling wrap and let it rest on freezer for 25 mins.

6.

For the chocolate balls , add 40 grams dark chocolate mixed with 2 tbsp hot water and stir well . Refrigerate until slightly solid .

7.

For brownie cookie , melt 50 grams butter and 60 frans chocolate over double boiler .

8.

Add condensed milk and vanilla and mix well .

9.

Add 3/4 cup of flour , 1/4 tsp each of baking powder , baking soda and salt .

10.

Add walnuts if u like them or skip completel.

11.

Chill the dough for 20 mins .

12.

Take out both the dough's and chocolate ganache out of fridge .

13.

Take a portion of brownie cookie dough and make a hump . Stuff it with a ball of chocolate chunk cookie dough which is slightly smaller in size .Now stuff the chocolate chunk cookie dough with a ganache ball and cover it with chocolate chunk cookie dough , covered with brownie cookie dough .

14.

Repeat until all cookies made . Preheat the oven at 160?/320 F for 10 mins .

15.

Refrigerate the cookies for 5 mins before u bake them .

16.

Now bake the prepared cookies for 25-30 mins or until the outside is firm and inside is still fudgy .

17.

Let the cookies coll at room temperature for 15 mins .

18.

Serve with a glass of cold milk or some vanilla ice cream and enjoy

Look at the happiness on his face when I sewed an apron for him at home. Ingredients 2 cups maida 1 teaspoon baking powder teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder cup unsalted butter, softened cup sugar 1+1/2 cup mashed bananas cup milk cup hand-cut walnuts Method: Pre-heat the oven to 180C. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper. In a bowl mix maida, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder. In a separate bowl mix butter and sugar using a hand-mixer. Mix in the bananas. Gently combine dry ingredients with the wet ingredients. Add in the milk. Now add the walnuts. Put the batter into the loaf pan and bake at 180C for 45 mins.

Steamed Vegetable Momo Recipe is an authentic, simple, quick & delicious snack recipe from Darjeeling in the North Eastern India. Here my son has added his own innovative touch by adding paneer. SERVES: 20 momos approximately PREPARATION TIME : 15 Minutes COOKING TIME: 12-15 Minutes INGREDIENTS for Veg and paneer momos. For Dough: 2 cups maida/refined flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon baking powder For Filling: 1 cup grated carrot 1 cup cabbage - grated 50 GMs paneer crumbled 1 teaspoon oil 1/2 cup onion - finely chopped 1 teaspoon garlic and ginger finely chopped 1 teaspoon Soya sauce 1/2 teaspoon Salt 1/4 teaspoon vinegar 1/2 teaspoon black pepper METHOD Mix maida, salt and baking powder and knead to a stiff dough with water. keep aside covered with a damp muslin cloth. 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

For Filling:

1 cup grated carrot

1 cup cabbage - grated

50 GMs paneer crumbled

1 teaspoon oil

1/2 cup onion - finely chopped

1 teaspoon garlic and ginger finely chopped

1 teaspoon Soya sauce

1/2 teaspoon Salt

1/4 teaspoon vinegar

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

METHOD

Mix maida, salt and baking powder and knead to a stiff dough with water. keep aside covered with a damp muslin cloth.

Heat oil and add the onion and ginger-garlic.

Saut over high heat and add the carrot and cabbage.
Stir over high heat till glossy. Add paneer and mix well

Take it off the heat and mix in the Soya sauce, salt, vinegar and black pepper.

Take a generous amount of dough. Roll the dough thin and cut into 4"-5" rounds.

Take a round, wet edges and place some filling in the center.

Bring edges together to cover the filling. Twist to seal and fill the rest in the same way.

Steam for about 10- 12 minutes and serve with soya sauce and chilli sauce.

My son Gurkirat Pal Singh has made black forest cake and thumbprint cookies filled with caramel For cake Ingredients for Chocolate Cake Layers: 9 large eggs, room temp 1 cup granulated sugar 1 cup all-purpose flour *measured correctly 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 4 Tbsp (1/4 cup) unsalted butter, melted and cooled to room temp 1/2 tsp vanilla extract Ingredients For the Filling: 4 cups (1 lb) bing cherries, pitted, plus 12 whole cherries for decor (If not in season, see *Recipe Tips) 3 Tbsp kirsch (a cherry liqueur) 1/2 cup cold water For the Frosting/Topping: 3 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream 1/3 cup Confectioners sugar 1 Tbsp kirsch (cherry liqueur) 4 oz good quality dark chocolate 1. Beat 9 large eggs with the whisk attachment for 1 min on high speed. With the mixer on, gradually add 1 cup sugar and continue beating on high speed a full 8 min. It will be thick and fluffy. 2. Hello all, Here my daughter K.S.Raja Lakhsme prepared mango ice cream herself. Let me tell how to prepare it. First, peel off 2 mangoes and cut into small pieces. Take away the seed. And grind well in the mixie. Add 4 tbsp condensed milk, finally add coconut milk 2tbsp. Again grind it. Transfer it in a bowl... Freeze it for 8hrs. And take it out. Garnish with chopped nuts. Serve and enjoy the delicious Mango Ice Cream

Chocolate cake Take one bowl add 1 cup maida one tbs baking powder 2 tbs coco powder ..sieve all and mix..take sugar pwder ,sieve and mix..then in other bowl take one cup milk,one cup butter and mix..Now mix mixture of both bowls...mix nicely with wooden spetula..now ur mixture is ready for cake. Put this mixture in microwave at medium temperature for 8 minutes in a microwave safe bowl. Then keep it aside for sometime to get it cooled down. Then your cake is ready..take out from.the bowl and decorate it as per ur choice.

Chocolate cupcake/ oreo bomb / choco lava cake recipe:
90 g flour
80 g sugar
25 g cocoa
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg(beaten)
75 ml milk
40 g butter(melted)
Pour into cupcake tins and add whichever toppings you want, like frozen chocolates or full oreos or chocolate chips and bake off at 180C for 20 min

Vanilla cake with frosting recipe:
Ingredients
3 cups (425g/15oz) cake flour, sifted
2 cups (453g/16oz) granulated sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
teaspoon salt
5 large egg whites , at room temperature
1 whole egg , at room temperature
1 cup (8floz/227ml) whole milk or full fat buttermilk
2 1/4 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
cup (170g, 6oz) unsalted butter, cold
Vanilla Buttercream Frosting (Master Recipe Here)

Instructions
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and line three 6-inch cake pans with parchment paper.
In a large jug combine and whisk together the egg whites, whole egg, milk, and the vanilla extract. Set aside.
In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine the dry ingredients together on low speed for 1 minute. (You can also do it by hand)
Add the cold butter and continue to mix on low until the mixture is a fine crumbly texture.
Add the liquid mixture into your dry ingredients in 2 separate batches making sure to scrape the sides and bottom before and after each batch, mixing until light, fluffy, homogenous and well incorporated. Fold once or twice to ensure the batter at bottom of bowl is incorporated.
Divide the batter evenly into the prepared pans.
Bake until a cake tester comes out with a few crumbs when inserted into the center, about 25-35 minutes. Be very careful to not over-bake. Check cake at 25 minutes to see how it is doing and judge the timing from there.
Once Bake let the cake cool on racks for 20 minutes before removing them from the tins.
When the cake is completely cold you can start to decorate. If you are not using it straight away wrap the cake tightly and store at room temperature for up to 2 days, refrigerator for up to 5 days, or frozen for up to 2 months.
To Assemble the Cake: With a serrated knife cut off the top of the cake layers to give them even, level surfaces to frost on.
Place bottom cake layer on the table or cake turntable.
Spread your chilled butter cream frosting on top with a small offset spatula. Gently place 2nd cake layer face down on top. Place more frosting on top of this layer and spread out.
Gently add the 3rd cake layer. Add a generous scoop of frosting and spread evenly with a small offset spatula working your way down the sides until you have a thin layer of frosting over the entire cake. This is called the Crumb layer . Chill until set, about 30 minutes.
Remove from refrigerator and apply a final coat of frosting. Decorate all over with sprinkles. Just keep on applying them until they stick all over.
Store in the fridge for up to 3 days. Before serving let it at room temperature for 30 minute and then enjoy!

Ingredients
1 cups (7 oz/ 213g) all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
teaspoon baking soda
cup (2oz/64g) rolled oats (preferably quick-cooking)
? cup (5oz/142g) sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
? cup (21/2floz/71ml) milk
cup (2floz/57ml) flavorless oil (canola, vegetable, sunflower oil)
1 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 medium bananas , mashed
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350F (180C)
Prepare a 9x5 loaf pan with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, combine your dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, baking powder, oats, sugar, cinnamon, and salt)
In a large bowl, combine your wet ingredients (eggs, milk, oil, vanilla, and mashed bananas)
Pour the dry ingredients into the bowl with the wet ingredients and mix by hand just until combined. Do not over mix as this can make the banana bread tough.
Pour the banana bread batter into the pan and bake for 55 minutes or until a toothpick or cake tester comes out clean. Enjoy!
Store at room temperature wrapped in cling wrap for up to 3 days.

Chocolate cake with choco buttercream recipe:
Ingredients
1 3/4 cups (250g/9oz) all-purpose flour
2 cups (400g/14oz) sugar
1/2 cup (2oz/75g) unsweetened cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 cup (240ml/8floz) buttermilk*
1/2 cup (120g/4oz) vegetable oil, or any flavorless oil
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup (240ml/8floz) freshly brewed hot coffee
Chocolate Fudge Frosting Recipe
1 cup (240g/8oz) butter, at room temperature
6 cups (1lb 8oz/675g ) powdered sugar, SIFTED
1 1/3 cup (120g/4oz) cocoa
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2/3 cup (51/2floz/165ml) whole milk

Instructions
To Make the Cake:
Preheat the oven to 350F (180C). Butter and line 3 8-inch x 2-inch round cake pans. You can use 2 times, I just wanted 3 layers in mine.
Sift the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt into a large bowl. Whisk the ingredients together by hand.
In another bowl, combine the buttermilk, oil, eggs, vanilla, and coffee
Add the wet ingredients to the dry and GENTLY mix the batter just to combine. Do not over mix or beat as this cake can toughen up.
Pour the batter into the prepared pans and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until a cake tester comes out clean.
Note: this cake cooks fast so check if after 25 minutes. You dont want to overcook it.
Cool in the pans for 30 minutes, then turn them out onto a cooling rack and cool completely.
To make the Fudge Frosting:
In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat room temperature butter until lightly fluffy. Add the sifted powdered sugar 1 spoon at a time and mix well. It will get light in color and bigger
Add vanilla and cocoa, and the milk, scraping down the sides of the bowl as you work.
Turn mixer on medium high. Beat frosting until light, fluffy and of spreading consistency.
If the frosting is too thick, slowly add more milk or half & half, one tablespoon at a time, until it reaches the desired consistency.
You can use the frosting immediately, or store it in the refrigerator for 3 days, or freeze it for up to 3 months. Allow frosting to come to room temperature before using.
To Decorate:
Place 1 layer, flat side up, on a flat plate or cake pedestal.
Create a crumb layer: With a knife or offset spatula, spread the top with frosting. Place the second layer on the top, rounded side up, and spread the frosting evenly on the top and sides of the cake.
Put the cake in the fridge and let the crumb layer set for around 30 minutes (this will make the finished product look really clean)
Take the cake from the fridge and put on another, final layer of frosting. Try and get it as smooth as you can.
To finish the top of your cake, take a spoon that has been dipped in hot water and dried. Work from the outside in and create a swirl until you get to the center.
Finish your cake off with your homemade sprinkles.
Store at room temperature or in the fridge for up to 4 days. If storing in the fridge make sure it reaches room temperature before eating.

Fudgy brownie recipe:
Ingredients
1 cup (8oz/225g) butter, melted and cooled
2 tablespoons vegetable oil (coconut or canola)
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons (6 1/4oz/177g) brown sugar
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons (8 1/4oz/227g) white sugar
4 large eggs , room temperature
4 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup (5oz/142g) all purpose flour
1 cup (4oz/115g) good quality, unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups (9oz/255g) roughly chopped chocolate or large chocolate chips

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350F (175C) then line a 7x11 inch baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.
In a large bowl combine melted butter, oil and both sugars.
Add the eggs, vanilla and salt then whisk for about one minute until evenly combined and light in color.
Over the same bowl sift in the flour and cocoa powder. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until JUST combined (do NOT over mix). Fold in half of the chocolate chunks.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan, then smooth the top. Generously top with the remaining chocolate chunks.
Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the centre of the brownies no longer jiggles and is JUST set to the touch.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool to room temperature before removing from the baking tray and slicing into 16 brownies. Enjoy!

Mug brownie recipe:
Ingredients
3 tablespoons all purpose flour
3 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons Cocoa Powder
3 tablespoons flavorless oil (canola oil/coconut oil/sunflower oil)
3 tablespoons water
pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons chocolate chips

Instructions
In a microwavable mug (roughly 1 cup measurement) mix together all of the ingredients.
Mix in the chocolate chips.
If you dont want to cook them off straight away, then place them in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
Microwave for 45-60 seconds. (Timing is based on my 1200W microwave so your timing might vary). Allow to cool for at least 5 minutes.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream & enjoy!

Marble cake recipe:
Ingredients
1 Cup/225g/8oz butter softened at room temperature
1 Cup/225g/8oz sugar
4 eggs
1 Cups/225g/8oz all purpose flour (plain flour)
2 tsp Baking powder

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350F/180C
Line a cupcake tins with wrappers, around 12-15.
Cream the butter and the sugar together in a bowl until pale and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs one at a time until well combined, then add in the next one. If you mix looks curldes, add in a spoonful of flour.
Mix in the flour and raising agent using the beater or a large metal spoon until just combined, then stop.
Divide the mixture between 5 bowls and color blue, pink, yellow, purple, and some plain.
Spoon 2 colors into the wrappers and mix with a knife to get a marble effect. Fill the wrapper of the way.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden-brown on top and a skewer inserted into the middle comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and set aside for 5 minutes, then remove from the tin and place onto a wire rack. Once cold store in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
Decorate your cupcakes however you like them.

Dalgona coffee recipe:
Ingredients
2 Tbsp Instant Coffee
2 Tbsp Sugar refined,granule
2 Tbsp Hot Water
4 Ice Cubes
1 Cup Milk cold
Instructions
Take a bowl and add instant coffee powder, sugar and hot water to it.
Whisk it using a whisker continuously until it becomes thick and light. You can also use electric beater.
Once it becomes thick, keep it aside.
Add ice cubes to a serving glass. Add cold milk to it.
Now add the coffee mixture to it.
Garnish it with coffee powder or cinnamon powder. Dalgona coffee is ready!

Ingredients : Boiled potatoes 2 cut in to small pieces Salt to taste Pizza herbs 1 tsp Chilli flex -1 tsp Green coriander 1- tsp Mayonnaise 3-4 tsp Cheese - optional Maida 1/2 cup Corn flour 1/4 cup Bread crumbs 1/2 cup Oil for fry Process : 1. In large bowl take potato , salt,pizza herbs , mayonnaise, green coriander and mix it well. 2 . Now make small bolls with potato mixture and keep a side. 3. In another bowl take maida and corn flour ,salt and make thin better. 4. Now take frying pan and heat the oil. 5 . Then take potato boll and deep into maida and corn flour better then roll out in bread crumbs . 6. And fry in the oil till golden brown. 7. And serve with mayonnaise.

My son has also made chocolate coffee and almond cake with chocolate ganache and coffee cremuex.... Recipe of vanilla cake I have attached the recipe in the picture .. i have used reverse creaming method.... For coffee cremuex ..... 2 egg yolks 1/2 cup (100g) sugar 1 1/2 tbsp (12g) cornstarch 2/3 cup (160ml) warm milk 1/2 tsp (3g) vanilla extract 1 tbsp (4g) instant coffee 1/2 tbsp (5g) gelatin powder 2 tbsp cold water 1 cup (240g) whipping cream, 35% fat, chilled Direction : Stir egg yolks with sugar until creamy and pale yellow colored. Stir in cornstarch. Gradually whisk in the warm milk until completely combined. Place the yolks mixture into a small saucepan and cook over low heat while stirring until boils and thickens. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and instant coffee. Let it cool. Dissolve gelatin in 2 tbsp cold water and let it swell for about 5 to 10 minutes. Place over low heat just until the gelatin dissolves and then pour it over coffee mixture. Whip the the cold whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Gradually incorporate into coffee mixture. Spread the coffee mousse over the chocolate cake in the pan, using an offset spatula. For chocolate ganache 1.Chop chocolate roughly. If using chocolate chips you can skip this step or give them a few swipes with the knife. Chopping chocolate into finer pieces adds surface area and lets the hot liquid melt it with less additional heat and chance of burning. Vegetable dum biriyani FOR RICE: 8 cups water 2 bay leaf / tej patta 1 inch cinnamon stick tsp cloves 1 star anise tsp pepper 2 tsp oil 1 tsp salt 1 basmati rice, soaked for 20 minutes FOR BIRYANI GRAVY: 2 tbsp oil 1 tbsp ghee / clarified butter 1 bay leaf / tej patta 2 inch cinnamon stick tsp cloves 1 star anise 1 tsp shah jeera / caraway seeds 4 cardamom 1 onion, finely chopped 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste 2 cups mixed vegetables, carrot, gobi, peas, potato, beans, chopped 1 cup curd / yogurt 1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder tsp turmeric / haldi 2 tsp biryani masala powder 1 tsp salt 2 tsp coriander-mint paste 1 cup water 15 cubes paneer / cottage cheese OTHER INGREDIENTS: cup mint / pudina, chopped cup coriander, chopped 1 tbsp ghee / clarified butter cup fried onions / barista cup saffron water pinch of biryani masala powder wheat dough, to seal INSTRUCTIONS firstly, in a thick bottomed deep vessel spread in a layer of prepared biryani gravy. further layer with cooked rice. also spread few chopped mint, coriander, fried onions and saffron water. as a third layer, spread biryani gravy. repeat layering with cooked rice, saffron water, fried onions and biryani masala. also top with a tbsp of ghee, mint and coriander. close and seal with dough. simmer for 15 minutes. finally, serve hyderabadi dum biryani with raita or mirchi ka salan. For paneer tikka INGREDIENTS cup curd / yogurt, thick tsp turmeric / haldi 1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder / lal mirch powder tsp coriander powder / daniya powder tsp cumin powder / jeera powder tsp garam masala tsp kasuri methi / dry fenugreek leaves, crushed tsp chaat masala 1 tsp ginger - garlic paste tsp ajwain / carom seeds 2 tsp besan / gram flour, dry roasted 1 tbsp lemon juice salt to taste 3 tsp oil VEGETABLES: onions, petals capsicum, red & green, cubed 5 cubes paneer / cottage cheese INSTRUCTIONS firstly, take cup thick curd / yogurt. further add in all the spices along with salt. mix till all the spices are combined well with curd. now add onion petals, cubed capsicum (red & green) and 5 cubes paneer. also add 1 tsp of oil. mix gently till all the vegetables are coated well. furthermore, to marinate, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. after marination, insert the marinated paneer, capsicum and onions into wooden skewers. further, roast it on a hot tawa or grill in oven or tandoor. finally, sprinkle some chaat masala and serve paneer tikka immediately. Vegetable dum biriyani
FOR RICE:
8 cups water
2 bay leaf / tej patta
1 inch cinnamon stick
tsp cloves
1 star anise
tsp pepper
2 tsp oil
1 tsp salt
1 basmati rice, soaked for 20 minutes
FOR BIRYANI GRAVY:
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp ghee / clarified butter
1 bay leaf / tej patta
2 inch cinnamon stick
tsp cloves
1 star anise
1 tsp shah jeera / caraway seeds
4 cardamom
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
2 cups mixed vegetables, carrot, gobi, peas, potato, beans, chopped
1 cup curd / yogurt
1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
tsp turmeric / haldi
2 tsp biryani masala powder
1 tsp salt
2 tsp coriander-mint paste
1 cup water
15 cubes paneer / cottage cheese
OTHER INGREDIENTS:
cup mint / pudina, chopped
cup coriander, chopped
1 tbsp ghee / clarified butter
cup fried onions / barista
cup saffron water
pinch of biryani masala powder
wheat dough, to seal
INSTRUCTIONS
firstly, in a thick bottomed deep vessel spread in a layer of prepared biryani gravy.
further layer with cooked rice.
also spread few chopped mint, coriander, fried onions and saffron water.
as a third layer, spread biryani gravy.
repeat layering with cooked rice, saffron water, fried onions and biryani masala.
also top with a tbsp of ghee, mint and coriander.
close and seal with dough.
simmer for 15 minutes.
finally, serve hyderabadi dum biryani with raita or mirchi ka salan.

Add in chicken, salt and toss well. Add in water, cover and simmer for 10 to 15 mins.

Now open the lid and increase the heat and dry the chicken.

Serve.
For beetroot dip
Take 1 beet root boil it and peel the skin and grate it...

Here is my entry with my little one. He made a cake for first time. We both enjoyed Cooking together. Indgredients 30-35 cream Biscuit 1 cupMilk 1packet eno 1tsp butter 200gms chocolate 10-15 gems 1 cup water Method 1. In a blender take 30-35 bourbon biscuit and blend them into a fine powder. 2. By the time we prepare the batter, take a kadhai and spread salt for baking. Cover and leave the kadhai for 15 minutes for preheating. 3. In meantime transfer crushed biscuits in a mixing bowl. Add half cup of milk and mix well. The milk should be at room temperature. 4. Add other half cup of milk and mix well. Then add 1 sachet eno and mix well. Batter is ready. 5. Grease a cake mould with butter and transfer the batter in mould. Tap twice so that batter settles evenly. 6. In the kadhai, place a cookie cutter or wire stand on top of stand and place the mould on top of it. Please be careful while placing the mould as the kadhai will be too hot. 7. Cover the kadhai an cook on low flame for 20-25 minutes. After 20 minutes check with a toothpick, the cake should be cooked from inside. In case the after inserting toothpick it comes out wet, cook for another 5-7 minutes and check again. 8. After 25 minutes, take out the cake from kadhai and let it cool for 10-15 minutes 9. Once the cake cools down, demould the cake in a plate. 10. Now in a pan, heat 1 cup water and place a bowl on it. Please make sure the bowl should not be in contact of water. Place the pieces of chocolate in bowl and stir continuously till Chocolate melts. 11. Speard layer of chocolate on top and sides of other cake piece. With the help of mehandi cone make designs of your choice on the cake and decorate with some gems.. The cake is ready to serve and cut.. ENJOY!!!

My son Akshat is 10 years old. He is interested in cooking. He has tried few sandwiches and juice varieties on his own. Today he has made garlic bread which came out so delicious. Ingredients Maida 1 cup Milk 1/4 cup Sugar 1 tspn Salt as required Baking powder 1/2 tspn Baking soda 1/2 tspn Curd 1/4 cup Oil 2 tspn Salted butter 3 tblspn Grated garlic 5 tspn Italian herbs 4 tspn Grated cheese 1/2 cup Method Mix maida, milk, curd, oil , salt, sugar, baking powder , baking soda in to soft dough. Keep it covered for 1 hour. After an hour knead the dough for 1 minute and make a roti out of it. Mix butter, garlic and herbs together and apply it on the roti. Put the cheese on one side of the roti and cover the other side. Seal the edges with little water to avoid cheese flowing out. Transfer the prepared dough in a greased plate and bake it for 15 - 20 minutes either in an oven or a cooker. Yummy garlic bread is ready.

My son Ayush Gupta is 14 years old he baked 2 layer Oreo red velvet cake with butter cream frosting all by himself.

Ingredients:
Ingredients
3 cups all purpose flour
4 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 teaspoon baking soda
2 cup castor sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup yogurt
4 teaspoons lemon juice
4 teaspoons vanilla extract
8-9 teaspoons red food colour
2 + 1/2cup buttermilk

For Frosting:
225 grams cream cheese
1/2 cup butter
2-3 teaspoon vanilla essence
1/4 cup milk if required

For garnish:
A packet of oreo
How to make it:
1. Pre-heat the oven to 180*C and line two 9" round cake pan with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda together. I recommend you sift all the dry ingredients once.
3. In a separate bowl, combine sugar and oil. Beat well.
4. Add yogurt, vanilla, red color and lemon juice and mix until everything is well combined.
5. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients in three batches, alternating with buttermilk.
6. Be careful to not over mix.
7. Transfer the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30-40 minutes. Your eggless red velvet cake is ready!
8. Now, in a bowl take cream cheese and whisk it. Add butter to it when it turns fluffy. Whisk again.
9. You can add vanilla essence (optional) for extra flavour. Whisk it.
10. Keep whisking until it turns as fluffy as a cloud and add milk simultaneously if required.
11. Apply the frosting between the two layers of cake and when done sprinkle it with crushed Oreos.

Jackfruit Seed Milk Shake by my son Aadith K. S, 11years For 4 person, need 19-20 jackfruit seed, cook in a pressure cooker with water, wait for 2-3whistle (can cook as whole seed, no need to cut into pieces, after whistle, set aside for 20 mins. Open the pressure cooker and drain the water.Peel the skin of seed, no need to remove brown colour of seed, it is good for health. Once all skin removed, put all these seeds in a mixer jar and crush. Once crushed, add sugar as required. We used 4 spoon sugar.Then add 3 spoon milkmaid, 1 spoon milk powder, 2-3 vanilla drops or vanilla powder(2 spoon) once again crush it in mixer, then slowly add half glass of milk(cool or boiled) mix it, again slowly add milk and mix, finally add crushed cashewnuts and serve.

Ingredients:

Gems and choco chips
Receipe:
Firstly dip 1 biscuit in milk and put it on plate and than spread choco sauce.... repeat with two more biscuit ND put it one over another
And than garnish with gems and chocho chips... fridge it for ten mins to set

Recipe
Manchurian - Maida - 3/4 cup, cornflour - 1/4 cup, salt, ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp, baking soda - a pinch. Make the batter. Dip washed and boiled cauliflower florets and deep fry.
Gravy - In oil, add chopped onion, capsicum, ginger and garlic. Saute for 2 mins. Add a tsp of soya sauce, red chilli sauce, tomato sauce and salt as oer taste. To this add corn flour slurry( 1 tsp corn flour mixed with 5 tsp of water) . Saute f0r 3 mins. Finally add fried manchuri to this n ready

Here is my daughter who is 9 years old entry for this fantastic contest Kids Cooking contest Power packed Dal Paratha Ingredient- Leftover Cooked Dal ( any dal )- 1 cup Multigrain flour - 2 cup Salt - to taste Carom seeds ( Ajwain) - 1 tsp. Sesame seeds - 2 tbsp Clarified butter- 3 tbsp. Method- Combine all the ingredients together except clarified butter and make a smooth dough . Roll out Paratha in triangle shape from the dough. Heat tawa and cook Paratha on medium heat till cooked nicely on both sides. Serve hot with curd and butter.

Ingredients:- Atta-1cup Sugar-1cup Elachi-5 gm Grapes-25gm Ghee-1/2cup Method:-Take the pan with Atta & and Ghee.Roast it 5 minutes.Then off the gas. Add Elachi,Grapes and sugar powder (Grind the sugar).After cool it.Make a small ball.Healthy and delicious Atta Ladoo is ready....

Kids will love this and stop being fussy to eat fruits and vegetables "Nutri Sticks" Ingredients- Seasonal Fruits and Salad vegetables of your choice - 2 cup Hung curd - 1/2 cup Salt- to taste White pepper powder- 1/4 tsp. Sugar- 1 tsp. Olive oil- 1tbsp. Method- Wash and pat dry fruits and vegetables Take hung curd in a bowl and whisk nicely,add salt ,sugar ,pepper and olive oil. Spread pieces of tomato onion n capsicum on it in a layer . Spread 1 cube of graded cheez over it. Bake it for 1 min in oven. And the delicious mini pizza is ready to eat.

Monaco Burger Ingredients Monaco biscuit Mashed potatoes Sauce Barik sev Onion Coriander Salt Chilli powder Cumin powder Lime juice Method. Take a bowl add mashed potatoes chopped onion salt chilli powder lime juice coriander cumin powder and mix it properly and and make small balls of it . Burger made by my son.with my help... Cheesy burger Ingredients: cheese slice butter One packet burger One onion( round slices) Mayonese For aalo Rikki: Four boiled potatoes One onion finely chopped 1/2 cup cornflour Salt, red pepper to taste .coriander leaves Method: how to make tikki mash boiled potatoes and mix cornflour, chopped onions, salt , coriander leaves and red pepper. Mix well and make round tikkis. Try them in heated oil till golden brown Now take a pan and cut the bun into 2 pieces. Slightly bake the buns in butter. Now spread mayonese on one side and place aaloo tikki on it. Place onion slices on it. On top place a cheese slice.and pit the other part of bun on it. Cheesy burger is ready.

Now Peel the skin of boiled potatoes and mash it with other vegetables in a big bowl, now add chat masala, salt in the mixture and mix well. Take bread slices,apply mixture on bread slice and close other slice of bread on top. Now place bread in toaster and toast it. Now Toast is ready

My daughter bhavyasree is 4 years old. She prepared the Moong dal chaat recipe without using gas. Ingredients used 1. Moong dal 2. Carrot 3. Cabbage 4. Coriendar leaves 5. Peanut 6. Lime juice Method : Soak the moon dal in hot water for 20 mins. After that drain excess water and add finely chopped carrot, cabbage, coraiender leaves and peanut. Add salt, pepper, chilli and garam masala powder for taste. Finally lime juice is added and mixed well. Healthy recipe prepared by little one with joy.

My daughter loves cooking she is 8yrs old .its easy simple mutton gravy made in 15mins Ingredients Mutton -1kg For grinding onion,ginger garlic,tomato,green chilli,saunf,haldi,lal mirch,shaniya powder,salt. For tadka whole garam masalas. Keep it cooker just in 3whistles gravy is ready. Garnish with coriander and lemon juice.

My little brother Bhuvnesh Bajoria made papdi chart as its can be prepared without the use of gas... Ingredients are: papdi spices (salt, red chilli powder, garam masala, jal jeera, chart masala, amchur powder) curd/yogurt namkeen pomogranate boiled potato onion mithi chatni dhaniya ki chatni Method : dip the papdi into curd and cover both side of the papdi with curd.. decorate it on plate and spread potato and onion on it.. follow with spices and namkeen on it... and add chatni and pomogranate to it... ur papdi chart is ready

Eno(1 packet) 5. Almonds, cashew, raisen 6.Marbles(gems) 7. Little hearts(1 packet) Method : First of all crush all the biscuits nd put them in mixer and grind it well. Next put the milk in the mixer so that the milk gets mixed with the biscuit and we can get a smooth paste. Then take one bowl and grease it well then put the butter paper in the bowl and again grease it. Then put the smooth paste of the biscuit in the bowl. Then add eno for making it fluffy. Then mix it. Garnish it with almonds, cashew and raisen. Then bake it for about 30-40 min. Decorate it with the marbles and little heart. And our cake is ready now.

Ingredients Cake Batter 125g Butter (Salted) 1 cup Condensed Milk 1.75 Cups Maida 1 tsp Baking Powder 3/4th tsp Baking Soda 1 tsp Vanilla Extract 1 Cup warm Milk Frosting 1 Cup Fresh Cream 1 tsp Vanilla Extract 1/2 Cup Chocolate Frosting. Method. In a bowl, add the butter and condensed milk, blend it till it turns white. Now, add Maida, Baking Powder, Baking Soda And Vanilla Extract. Mix it using cut & fold method. Add Warm Milk to it and again mix using the cut & fold method.( Add more milk if required.) It should be in a dropping consistency. Transfer it into a Cake pan and bake it. Once the cake is baked, we will now Cut it into two layers and frost it Take your fresh cream, add Vanilla Extract to it. Blend it till Stiff Peaks. Now. Spread the Vanilla Frosting on both the layers of the cake. Place them on top of each other and even out the frosting Now, decorate it with your favorite nozzle and chocolate frosting And your cake is ready!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ingredients
Cake Batter
125g Butter (Salted)
1 cup Condensed Milk

Frosting
1 Cup Fresh Cream
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup Chocolate Frosting.

Method.
In a bowl, add the butter and condensed milk, blend it till it turns white.
Now, add Maida, Baking Powder, Baking Soda And Vanilla Extract. Mix it using cut & fold method.
Add Warm Milk to it and again mix using the cut & fold method.( Add more milk if required.)
It should be in a dropping consistency.
Transfer it into a Cake pan and bake it.
Once the cake is baked, we will now Cut it into two layers and frost it
Take your fresh cream, add Vanilla Extract to it.
Blend it till Stiff Peaks.
Now. Spread the Vanilla Frosting on both the layers of the cake.
Place them on top of each other and even out the frosting
Now, decorate it with your favorite nozzle and chocolate frosting
And your cake is ready!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Son Aarav Dubey 11 years Old He prepared "Egg Curry" 6 large eggs, boiled 1/4 cup green peas, I used frozen peas 1 tablespoon oil, I used vegetable oil 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds 1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds 2 cloves 4-5 peppercorns 2 medium red onion, finely chopped 3 medium tomatoes, pureed 2 green chili, finely chopped 1 inch ginger, chopped and then crushed 3-4 garlic cloves, chopped and then crushed 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon kashmiri red chili powder 1/4 teaspoon garam masala 1.5 teaspoon coriander powder 1 cup water, or adjust to how thick or thin you want the curry to be 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro salt, to taste Instructions Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. This year she finished her 12th board exams. With no pressure of studies and nowhere to go out due to the lockdown and thr absence of maids, she has been trying her hands at various simple and quick dishes in the kitchen. White sauce pasta, PARLE G biscuit cake, soya nuggets and aloo tikki., gulab jamuns made with ready mox...these are few things she has tried for the 1st time, during the lockdown period. My son Hamza Ahmad 8 yrs is a cooking enthusiast and love to help me in my kitchen. This lockdown we tried making a Trifle with one of his favourite biscuit Parle G. This is very easy no fire recipe with simple ingredients which kids will really enjoy making and munching. RECIPE INGREDIENTS : PARLE G biscuits 3 small pckts Any juice 1 cup Freshly cut fruits of your choice 2 cups Whipped cream 2 cups Tuty fruity and starwberry crush or Roohafza for garnishing METHOD : STEP 1 : First dip the biscuit in juice just for 4 - 5 sec and arrange it at tha base of the dish. Make double layer of the biscuits. STEP 2 : Arrange the cut fruits on the top of biscuit such that it covers all the biscuit. STEP 3: NOW,spread the whipped cream on top of fruits layer . Put large amount of cream to cover it properly. STEP 4: Garnish it with tuty fruity and Roohafza and keep it in refrigerator for 2-3 hrs to set. Take out and cut a small portion in square. Serve chill

Easter Bunnies made by kabir for Easter. Being 10yrs old he loves to cook and helps me in the kitchen. So this time he went all out to make these delicious white chocolate bunnies 1. 250gms white chocolate compound 2. Mint flavour essence Melt the chocolate in the double boiler. (I assisted him) Once it's melted stir the chocolate till it comes to room temperature. Then add 3 to 4 drops of mint essence . Stir once again Take the bunny mould.. Fill the mould. Refrigerate for 15 minutes. Take the tray out. Reverse the tray on a chopping board or butter paper Easter bunnies r ready. Decorate the eyes and nose with milk chocolate.

Mix atta with water make as blend and leave it for 20 min. After make like chappati spread put grinded coconut, roasted sugar powder in centre and cut and fold like fish design.. Put it oil for fry. My daughter varshaa did watermelon jam for my YouTube channel Ingredients Watermelon -1/2 Sugar -1 cup Lemon juice-2 tsp Rose syrup- 1 spoon Method Take watermelon pure using blender. In a pan heat watermelon pulp . Keep stirring till the pulp starts thickening. Add sugar and rose syrup stir almost constantly to prevent the bottom of the mixture from burning. Make sure to turn off flame when the jam in semi solid consistency as it will turn hard after few hours. Add lemon juice at the end Refrigerate for 2 hours and serve with bread slices.

My Daughter Ivana is 9 years old, she made the potato mash, garnished it with coriander leaves and butter, Cut the fruits for the mixed fruit platter and made the lemon mint cooler, The chicken was marianted a day in advance and Ivana put them in the oven and grilled them as per my instructions, all the vegetables for the prawns with veggie stir fry were cut by her and them tossed in garlic butter. She was monitored by me all through the process for safety measures.
