Millets are considered as good carb, so it's easily digestible. It's gluten-free and has a high nutritional value. So, what about a millet breakfast? Presenting here my millet-based breakfast recipe :
Healthy Savoury Jowar Beetroot Pancakes
Ingredients:
• Jowar flour 1 ½ cup
• Beetroot 1
• Onion 1
• Curd ½ cup
• Green chillies 2
• Coriander leaves ½ cup
• Salt as required
• Oil as required
• Water as required
Instructions:
• Grate beetroot and make puree.
• Take jowar flour in a bowl.
• Mix chopped onion, green chillies, coriander leaves, curd, salt and pureed beetroot.
• Blend everything into thick lump free batter. Keep aside for 10 minutes. Add more water to adjust the consistency.
• Heat a non-stick pan and drizzle some oil, pour a ladle full of pancake batter.
• Cook on one side and then flip over and cook the other side.
• Serve hot with green chutney. Enjoy!!
