My father is no more in this world 2020 On June 25, we celebrated Papa Mummy's wedding anniversary with great pomp. Then our family was completely unaware that after this happiness, a mountain of sorrows is going to break on our family. On July 1, 2020, we came to know that my father has stage 4 cancer. My whole family was in a deep shock. A big responsibility fell on my brother who was the youngest in the family.The doctor said, our father has only 2 months.Our family was not ready to accept this.Because my father was a yoga teacher and he used to take great care of his health.When father came to know about the disease he was battling, he gave us courage.It was a very difficult time for him, but still he took care of us.We got my father the best treatment.But still we failed to save them. My father used to sing this song whenever we were in trouble "Jindgi Har Kadam Ek Nayi Jang" to give us courage.Today I also listen to this song to my children.That's why I dedicate this song to my father.

My father figure means is "god" For me. He did much for me. I Lost my one eye when I was in childhood and I suffered much but my father was always with me. I teach me lesson of Life and inspire me very much. He is militery retirement and he is energetic person, hard working, open minded, courageous and many more qualities he have. I am following my father's rules in my life. He give me higher education and I am able to do everything. Now I am mother of two kids and Doing preparation of UPSC. I want to become A successful person and want to feel proud to my father.

This father's day I would dedicate a song to my long lost elder brother,Shubhra Pratim Sarkar whom we lost thirty years ago.If he were alive today I might be still hearing him humming 'Zindegi Ka Safar Hain Ye Kaisa Safar...',his favourite song of Kishore Kumar.Dada was a die hard fan of Kishore Kumar.So to my Dada who might be as good as my father had he lived now this song Zindegi ka safar...is dedicated by his little Bubu.

The song ' Sawan ka mahine' sung by Mukesh picturised on actor Sunil Dutt reminds me of my father whom I lost recently.A great fan of Mukesh and even sounded like him.This particular song was sung by him and he had a habit of saying 'sor' instead of 'shor' as was in the lyrics' pawan kare sor'.
My father was a very fun loving person and had a great quality of personally keeping in touch with all his contacts and of every age group. At age of 80+ he till the last only appreciated and blessed every little thing anybody did. Really miss him but have learnt life needs to connect and not lived in isolation.

I want to dedicate the "Ek, do teen.." from the movie Tezaab to my grandfather V.Vijayaraghvan.
I was in grade 8 many years ago. I was terrible in Maths. Everyone thought i was a dim head except my grandfather. He believed in me, I used to annoy him singing this song whenever he used to ask me to tell the tables. But he never lost patience, he taught me with lots of passion. Today I am a gold medalist plus a post-graduate in Maths and teach mathematics to children. He may have passed away but his legacy remains.

Papa The Great song best describes my father because he is my superhero,friend for life,mentor,anchor of my life .He has given me the courage to stand up in the face of all odds.He is my hero because he motivates me to face risks and take challenges with a smile on my face.He means the world to me .Without his support i couldn't have reached the position where I am today.Love u loads papa for being a macho man and pampering me like a princess.

In the same way, our father also lived his entire life solely for the welfare of his family members including his mother, wife, sons and daughters, sisters and brothers. Indeed he lived his entire life solely for others' well-being right from the death of his father immediately after my father's marriage at the age of 29 years. He died at the age of 84 years in 2019. Great men leave behind their footprints on the sands of time.
