Have you noticed how children love to dig, pinch, roll, and squeeze stuff in their hands? Give your child some play dough to play with. It’s one of the best ways they can build their fine motor skills. These skills are going to prepare your child for mastering tasks like eating, holding a pencil, writing, drawing, manipulating objects, and a million other things.
Here’s a guide to the numerous benefits of playing with clay.

Follow the leader -a classic game
Children and teachers sit on the ground in a big circle. The teacher becomes the
leader first and says that everyone should look at
her/him, follow the action that he/she is doing and
keep singing this song together ‘Follow the lesder, leader -change ’. At the word, change the teacher
changes her/his action, and the children have to
copy it immediately. The teacher can start the game
by clapping and singing a song. Children will also
clap and sing. Then, the teacher can make some
changes in the clapping style, like clapping his/
her thighs with hands. The children need to follow
that. There is an endless number of actions that the
teacher can do. Some may make the children laugh,
like making a funny face or scratching the head.
Next, one child is chosen and sent out of the group.
The rest of the children choose a leader. When
the child comes back, he or she has to figure out
who the new leader is. Once the new leader is
identified, he or she would be the one to go out.

I would like to share some play activities, especially while the child is introduced to numbers.
"Say how many"
Children and teachers stand together in the
classroom or outside in the field in a circle.
Everyone runs in a circle, clapping and singing.
The teacher says, (how many?);
the children reply, (you tell us how
many)! The teacher calls out a random number.
The children have to form groups with that many members. For example, if the teacher says, ‘three’,
then three children form a group. Any group that
has fewer or more children is out of the game. If the
teacher says Statue while the children are running,
everybody stands still like a statue in their places.
They should not move until the teacher says, Move.
Whoever moves is out of the game.

1. Red level - Those who have wore red colour dress will come forward. Boys and girls with maximum red colour wear will call their names aloud. From that, the one child who calls his/her name loudly will lead the game. This game teach to be grounded. Leader will do sit-ups first, then will carry on with some physical exercises. This helps preschooler to start their day by being active and grounded.
2. Orange level - Those who have wore orange colour dress will come forward. Maximum orange wear dress will speak their names aloud. The one with the loudest voice will lead the game. This game teach to be happy with yourself. Leader will laugh out loud and do mimicry so that others laugh at his/her act. By this way, they learn to be happy with themselves.
3. Yellow level - Those who have wore yellow colour dress will come forward. The one with the loudest voice by calling his/her name will lead the game. This game teaches to shine like a diamond. Leader will give a bright light by shining his/her smile. He/she will go to each and every child place and will smile and say it loud "shine". This helps in building their brightest smile by shinning theirs and others light.
4. Green level -Those who have wore green colour dress will come forward. The one with the loudest voice by calling his/her name will lead the game. This game teaches to praise love for themselves, God, parents, family, friends, Teachers. Leader will say I love myself then everyone will follow what he/she says with action. Likewise, I love God, and so on.
5. Blue level - Those who have wore blue colour dress will come forward. The one with the loudest voice by calling his/her name will lead the game. This game teaches to express their learning. Leader will express their learnings like alphabets, numbers, rhymes and will be a teacher for time-being. By this way, they can express their learning.
6. Indigo level - In this level, teacher will lead. This game teaches to enjoy freely. In this game, 5 children for example, are kept in a row, they have to do frog jump and finish off with the end line. They are instructed to get, set and go jump like frog and finish first. By this way, they enjoy freely and have fun with the competition.
7. Violet level - This level will be lead by the one who have wore violet colour wear. This level teaches to relax sincerely. Childrens will be instructed to sleep and relax. Leader will go to each and every child and will see whose eyes are open, who is not sleeping and so on. The one with good sleep and relaxing mood will win the game. Here, challenge is children are notorious and can't sit, sleep, relax quietly. So, this game will be fun game to watch out the sincere child from many.
All in all, seven level game teaches life skills to preschoolers and they can easily identify Rainbow colours (VIBGYOR) by above fun activities.

Hello. I teach my child at home and use different colorful worksheets. Together we draw, count, learn letters and get acquainted with the world around us. Most of all, the child likes , where it is necessary to group objects. With the help of these tasks, I was able to learn colors and shapes with my child. By the way, I find activities on the Internet, print them out, and then use the laminator. So my printed materials can be used many times.
