I was amazing as my daughter used to say keep the phone aside and come over play with me

I would love to relive the experience of parents / grandparents telling stories to kids. I tell my son a story everyday. He loves it. Additionally, we also listen to audio stories on 'Katharoom' app. Good one, has a good collection of Indian stories.

It was very interesting to spent time with my kid during the Gadget free hours, we usually do the same but this is the first time to sat in one hour and share our thoughts and my kid thoughts about his ambition. Finally we got to know that my kid's ambition is becoming an "ARMY OFFICER".

       I'm Chithra, from ParentCircle, THE DOT LEARNING CIRCLE. I'm very happy to share my experience on #GadgetFreehour

    In my college and school days, I used to sing on stage, but for the first time, I sang in front of my family. My kids enjoyed it so much—they even joined me in singing! We had a lot of fun playing games like 'January... February...' together on the terrace, surrounded by candlelight. I also prepared a new dish, and we spent quality time sharing stories. I told them about my school and college life, and they shared their special moments with me too. It was such a joyful and heartwarming experience, far better than spending time on gadgets.

Good Morning Mam

Yesterday Ramco Vidyalaya celebrated gadgets free hours (yesterday from 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm. )Our students prepared an invitation card for their neighbours and invited them. We expected few participants only. But the response was overwhelming. All parents infact requested us to conduct such often.

Gadget free hour :-

     Experience of 1 hour gadget free time. 

•At 7:15 my sister,my mother, and I took the gadget free Pledge and posted it in the social media (Facebook) . Sharply at 7:30 I requested my family members and my neighbors to keep the gadgets away and spend time together like chatting, eating, story telling, playing, etc.... 

         First I played card game. Second is plot4.Third is business (board game) . Then I played water balloons with my sister. Again I played business. At 8:15 we ate dinner together and cleaned our house. At 8:30 I came to share my experience of 1 hour gadget free time.
