ParentCircle

What would you think if we told you there is a snack that is extremely healthy and yet delicious? Well, you might think this a little nutty to begin with. But, when we are talking about nuts, what we say would be true.

Rich in antioxidants, nuts are a great way to boost your immunity. What's more, they are packed with essential minerals, including calcium, magnesium, iron and phosphorous. Nuts are also a great source of fibre and  Vitamin E. Regular consumption of nuts also plays a major role in reducing the risk of heart attack, stroke and diabetes.

With all the benefits nuts offer, it's important that we make them a part of our daily diet. As a parent, encourage your child to snack on nuts from a young age. Keep some nuts handy for a quick snack and pack a small box of them for him to eat at school.
