The summer months can be unbearably hot with the sun in peak form. People resort to wearing light outfits, drinking lots of fluids, staying indoors for most of the time, lazing by the pool, travelling to the cooler climes of the hill stations and eating light to stay cool.

- Broccoli – It comprises of 91 per cent water; so apart from being delicious, it also keeps you hydrated.
