People living across cities and towns in India generate approximately 62 million tonnes of solid waste per year. This fact shouldn't take us by surprise, as no matter what city we live in, we see garbage lying around, every time we turn a corner.

As parents, it's our duty to make our children aware of how unsystematic disposal of waste leads to environmental degradation and what steps we can take, as a family, to lessen the damage.
