Back To School Activities For Kids

ParentCircle, ParentcircleParentCircle

Going back to school after a long vacation can be an uphill task for both you and your child. First, there is the hassle of getting your child to change her routine and get back to a more disciplined schedule. Then, there are also new challenges to be met at the school, new lessons to be learnt, and so on.

As an article titled 'Back-to-School Tips for Parents' in pbs.org puts it, 'Starting the new school year can be a time of great excitement… and anxiety.'

The transition can be made smoother, if you can add some excitement in the days leading up to the reopening day. You can do this by engaging your child in some great activities during this time. Our ClipBook will help you get some ideas on how you can do this.

Some of the ideas suggested in the articles in the ClipBook include connecting to friends before the school reopens, taking a tour of the school, and also meeting the teachers beforehand if possible. Then, there are also creative ideas such as making greeting cards and gifts to take to school for the friends.

To know in detail about all of these and more, flip through our ClipBook.
