9 Indian Sports Personalities That Made India Proud This Year


The year 2018 has been good for Indian sports and sports personalities. Although India has always been seen as a cricket-loving nation, other sports threw up a lot of surprises and, new idols for the country to look up to.

If Virat Kohli was rewriting the cricket books by making one record after the other, 'Magnificent Mary' became the first Indian woman boxer to win gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. If PV Sindhu was making waves on the badminton circuit, her colleague, Kidambi Srikanth, was working his way to the top of the rankings in the men's category.
