6 Roald Dahl Books Your Child Should Read


Roald Dahl is rightly remembered as one of the finest children's authors of all time. Born to Norwegian parents, his family settled down in Wales. Roald Dahl thirsted for adventure right from his childhood. Instead of going to college, as his mother wanted, he went on an expedition to Newfoundland. Later, he would go on to join the Royal Air Force and fly a plane in World War II. 

After being severely injured from the war, he decided to focus more on his writing. He is credited with writing several beautiful children's books, many of which have been adapted into films. He also wrote a couple of books and a few short stories for adults.
