That's a tough one Arundhati! For me it always feels like i am with my kids and husband(who is an overgrown kid himself) and even when I am left alone I find myself doing something for them. Of late, I have started to squeeze in some time for myself before bed every night so I can read some novels that I have wanted to read for a long time now.

I try to prioritise when things clash. Am pulled in so many directions what with work, children, hubby, parents, housework, friends, relatives, travel, fitness.... the list goes on & on. I've built a good support system, so can juggle things around when I require some me time. Don't feel guilty when you are trying to play the catch up game... it's ok to ask for help & take some time off
