@Mohan Here's the solution. Step 1. Patents go through Personal Security Education. Step 2. Teachers and school/college management go through Personal Security Education. Step 3. Kids go through Personal Security Education. Step 4. Install trained educated Security Marshalls in schools. They will be responsible for weekky/monthly Security Training and drills and also train school support staff. This is it. Do this and kids are not just secured in school but also when they are out together. Coz now they know how to act as one unit in emergency situations. Let me know if there are any takes for this solution. I'd be happy to help in implementation.
@Chakradhari Great tips, but as far as kids security is concerned, there have been many cases where very close friends/relatives/neighbours have been involved. How do we train kids to be wary of suspicious behavior in our own surrounding? Assuming that kids spend time in play areas or friends house where parents usually wouldn't monitor. Any insights in this area, pls share.
@Navyz 93% of Sexual Abuse comes from Family, friends, acquaintance, colleagues and neighbors. And yet we send our kids for karate classes to learn how to hit strangers who are only 3% of the problem. I've had participants who have been Sexually abused by own brother. And post my PSE workshops they have found Security. So my suggestions work. As far as handling abuse towards infants is concerned, that is the reason why parents need PSE.
@Anonymous I don't do online sessions. For now it's only groups. So if you have a community of residents I can do a program for you. Personal Security Education is all about understanding how we can take the responsibility of our own Security and that of our family.
@Chakradhari Nice. I am to curious, Sometimes, I feel like, what is this all about and those days neither our Parents nor us attended this kind of programs, but still we were completely aware of whats happening around us.
@Anonymous Those days there were not many threats. There was nothing to be really aware of. Less distractions. People walking on the road would be aware of what's happening. No one was in hurry to reach some where. It's completely opposite today.
