@Team ParentCircle Wishing all the dads a wonderful Father's Day!! :) Words cannot express the love and respect I have for my dad and how much he has shaped my life! Thank you dad!
@Meena P I am from Tamil Nadu and we celebrate Tamil New Year Day. What I usually do when it comes to festivals is, celebrate it to the fullest and include my children also in all the preparation and celebrations. Even those days that are not given as much importance as Diwali, Christmas, we make it a point to work together and celebrate it. Recently we also celebrated dry holi together, though it isn't much celebrated in Chennai, we did make it a point to tell our children the significance and we celebrated it too. Teach them through videos, through short stories, through cuisines and games. These personally have helped my children in enjoying it as well as remembering it. Myself and my wife initially had a tough time as we ourselves did not know the significance of many festivals, but we made it a point to know them from our parents and in laws and teach our kids. In this way, the entire family was more aware and it was more fun while celebrating together.
