That very moment of laughter :)
It is very difficult to write a hilarious story. Because when you started thinking what incidents you had with your lil champ ....believe me nothing was coming in my mind. This happens because during lockdown we are spending whole day at home and so many moments of joy we share. Parentcircle always gives me boost to write at the correct time.
So started thinking what to be penned down in this story. My boy is very fond of sweets, every day he needs sweets after his meal. I think this habit he has inherited from his maternal grandfather and uncle, they also enjoy having sweets or sweet curd( lal doi) after lunch. The problem started for me during this lockdown, getting sweets from market is a difficult job. That very day there was no sweets in my fridge, so decided to make suji ka halwa, a common delicious desert of India. As decided I prepared it and made it look like a milk cake( his favorite sweet). After lunch I served it to him, he was watching his favorite cartoon in TV, so I thought he will not realize what was going inside his mouth.
But the scenario was oppsite than my thought.
As soon as it went inside his mouth he asked me " Mummum, what is this?" I dropped my jaw.
I answered "Sweet".
Next question " What sweet?" I said " Milk cake". He said " Milk cake from the same shop" I said "yes"
Then he got hurried, and asked me again " tell me correctly what sweet is it?"
I Again told him it is milk cake. Then my lil one angrily said you are bluffing mummum, this can't be milk cake.
It is something else and believe me he didn't eat that any more. So I realized you should not try tobe smart in front of these kids. THEY ARE SMARTER THAN YOU THINK!

Hilarious moment as a mother
My son always shared a very close bond with his grandparents. He always loved to spend time with them right from his school days. Now that they are no more , he recalls all those beautiful , poignant , touching and hilarious moments he shared with them . Sometimes he mimics his grandparents , my husband ,me , his friends, teachers and has us in splits .
He recalls how his grandfather used to wake up if anyone pulled the newspaper when he dozed off reading it. He has shared many incidents of how he had been a partner in his crime of stealing chocolates which my mother used to keep in the fridge. He shared many anecdotes told to him by my mother . He also told me about the world of books which they introduced to him . Such strong bonding with his grandparents was valuable in inculcating sound moral values in my son ,in making him a good human being .
My son's first day to school.
This is the dreadful moment for all the parents to waive and say a tear filled good-bye to our most near and dear kids who have never been left under the care of someone else until they joined school.
I prepared so much to cope with my anxiety of letting my son join the new environment with unfamiliar people who he had no idea of what it’s going to be. I was apprehensive, yet made myself calm and wiped my tear before it would be noticed by many and specially my son.
My heart felt so heavy, I felt like I had a ball juggling between my chest and the throat, silently choked. I know it’s time to go, if I let my son know my anxiety he would fear. So, I mustered up all my courage to bid a good-bye.
There I let go of my son’s tiny fist and waved at him and
moved swiftly. I know if I stay a little more either my kid or I would cry. Then, I heard this feeble voice “Ma”. I fumbled for a second, should I move or respond was my question. Again he called “bye ma”. Oh my God! What a sigh of relief to hear that from my little toddler who had never been given an opportunity to say such a big word. A-Good-Bye. I turned and hugged him quickly and waived to leave. I saw the little tout with a cheerful smile. It was incredibly an awesome gesture by the little one. This gesture spoke a million words to me.
Hope all moms could relate to this.
The real Mother's Day!
Motherhood- a word of a fantastic world!. Babies give you surprises each and every moment. I have always wondered how beautiful it is to be a baby. When my baby started smiling at me, how I wondered of this moment being such a bliss. When he started walking, I loved him moving around.
One day, when I finished all the day’s work and I went to hit the bed, I checked on my baby if he had slept and made him comfortable with the pillows around. He called me ‘MA’, that in his beautiful voice for the very first time. I wanted to pinch myself and check if I was hearing the right thing. Oh my god! My baby called me MA… My world of happiness, the word of bliss, and my heart skipped a beat. I realised that this is the power of the word MA. I still cherish that special moment . That first moment came to my mind and is ever fresh. There are more to go. That day the meaning of mother came into the picture. I'm a proud mom.…
Oh! Why just one hilarious moment? With toddler, it’s difficult to choose one out of plenty moments. Quarantine time with toddler is sometimes fun-filled and sometimes irritating. One of the unforgettable moment of recent time is, “He pulled his grandparent spectacle especially at the time when they watch Television. For getting rid of it, I gave him sunglass of my father. He wore happily for a day that sunglass and than the next day, he broke the earpiece/temple of that glass. The hilarious moment begins as soon as he start wearing that broken glass in style and balance that glasses more than a minute. After glasses fall down, he use to laugh out loud. This unforgettable moment is such a hilarious moment that whenever we see that glasses we automatically start laughing.
