Let's Make Everyday World No Tobacco Day!
World no Tobacco day aims at eradication of lung or any kind of health disorders caused by consumption of tobacco. Participating in rallies and awareness programs only on 31st May ,world no Tobacco day can surely contribute to some change but as a responsible citizen we have to take some steps everyday and everytime we see tobacco users:
1- In case of teen smoking, we should try and know the reason behind their bad habit and find out about their company (friends circle) if they are distracted because of them. We should also talk to them and council that if they are going through some areas then this is not the way to overcome it.
2- Nowadays there are many chain smokers they don't realise that each time they smoke they are stepping towards their death.
So we have to take them to psychologist and help them lead a normal life.
3- Smoking does'nt only affect the individual but also affects his/her relationships, close people, friends etc. They become arrogant and agressive smokers.
4- It also affects the environment /people around because of the harmful smoke and sometimes leads to suffering of innocent people too.
My husband was a chain smoker till 2016. The reason he quit smoking is actually a lesson for us all. In June 2016, he was having extreme difficult and in breathing and was suffering from a whooping-type cough. The doctor asked us to go for a CT Scan of the chest and we were scared. He too was scared and was fearing cancer. However, the reports suggested a blocked left lung. He was asked to immediately quit smoking and expose himself to any form of pollution. With two months of complete bed rest and no- smokinhg, he started doing well and is absolutely fine now.
