Hello my son is 3.1 years old and has been detected with mild autism. His memory is sharp. But he uses words repeatedly and doesn't recognize much friends in school, also gets lost for directions, avoids monkey bars in garden and is still not able to slip from a straw and does very less eyes contact.
a. I want to know whether he will remain autistic for lifetime?
b.Will he ever be able to play/study with other kids normally?
c. His school has rejected his admission and asked suggested for special school. Does he really need a special school or can he study in a normal school as other kids?
Hello mam, My son is 2.10 years now.
Our doctor diagnosed ASD
I'm attending therapy his eye contact is improving, behaviour and sensory issues is reducing.he imitates,he points out,he is able to follow comments.
He is verbal.speech wise he is improving. My question is once he learn a new word he keeps on repeating often. For example..I'm hungry - he uses this word while he is really hungry and also uses while he is angry, frustrated.
Repetitive behaviour in speech don't know how to deal it with.
Or is it normal at this age to repeat the same word.
What is the treatment for autism??
