#Day5 of Nutrition Week! Mindful eating is not a diet. It is a conscious choice to slow down and take time to taste and enjoy the food. Simply put, it is about eating with intention and attention.

#Day5 of Nutrition Week! Most people’s meals don’t even last longer than 10 minutes! But it takes 20 minutes for the brain to send out signals of fullness. People who eat quickly are likely to feel hungry an hour later. But people who eat slowly feel satiated. So spend at least 20 to 30 minutes for each meal to reap the benefits.

So to get you started on eating slowly, how about a challenge? Spend at least 20 to 30 minutes for each meal and practice eating slowly for 30 days. Take a picture of yourself before you start the challenge and take a picture after completing the 30-day challenge. You will be amazed to see the transformation. So are you up for the challenge?
