Jan 12, 2020@Team ParentCircle Challenge Day 7 SPIRIT: One Core Value that I wish for my family to follow is Happiness. For some, happiness is an easy way out, but for few whose thoughts are hyperactive, happiness destination is difficult way. Every soul has came on this planet to free themselves from suffering. It's a journey where we have to search for our destination. This spirit knows whom to meet, what to do, where to go, how to act and so on. It's a trial and error learning journey.

Jan 12, 2020@Team ParentCircle Challenge Day 7 MIND: It's not easy to discover ourself completely. In that journey, relationships get highly affected. There are numerous challenges, issues that has to be resolved at regular interval. The major issue that bothered our family was generation-gap and wrong thinking. We resolved it by letting go the situation, being resilient, controlling mind and thought after that situation. This I believe is a superpower that can help to live life to the fullest.

Jan 13, 2020@Team ParentCircle One issue that bothers us is, due to work life, studies, and travel, all of us in the family need more time together with each other. So, we plan for all the family members to meet soon and have a big family reunion.

Jan 11, 2020@Team ParentCircle Challenge Day 6 SPIRIT: This mediation is beneficial if applied everyday as I use to act upon it. I focus on one task at a time and with 100% effort I use to accomplish it. This aids me in proper concentration while ongoing the task. Beforehand, I was perfectionist by thinking to achieve desired result whatsoever. Currently, I am focusing on task no matter the result. I am content with my present choice as this gives awareness and conplete the things consciously by seeing its pros and cons.

Jan 11, 2020@Team ParentCircle Yes, finished simple meditation and focused on the breath. Recently I had joined a group that had taken up a 21 day meditation challenge, which was a very refreshing and amazing experience. Simple meditation practices help a lot in our daily lives by making us more aware of our thoughts, choices, and actions.

Jan 11, 2020@Team ParentCircle Challenge Day 6 MIND: I am keen fond of the term "Empathy". I am an empathetic individual and I am proud to be an empath. I use to teach this topic in human resource management to my college students. I studied in my college time but at that time I was not aware of the feelings of my emotions and other emotions. However, I knew my strength. I started applying it daily like listening to elders, bachaparty patiently without any interference and judgment. By this Act, I observed that they like to share their stories and trust me in matter of doubts, confusions or problems.

Jan 12, 2020@Team ParentCircle This is a beautiful exercise. It makes us definitely think and be more patient when dealing with the world in general. Thank you team. I’m an empathetic person and I tried this exercise by trying to feel the vibes of others, understand what people might be going through during the day and I let things fall into place. I also was vocal about expressing my empathy like showing gratitude and saying “I understand what you are going through” when somebody was complaining about something. Most of the times people just need to be heard and they want somebody to talk to. Everybody has their own logic and reasoning for the way they are but the world needs empathy more than anything else for all of us to live peacefully. For instance, throwing garbage in somebody’s vacant plot, making somebody wait for no reason, corruption and almost all the troubles in the society happen because of lack of empathy. Being sensitive to others’ needs and feelings and trying to be more understanding of others is an excellent exercise which needs to be practiced everyday by all. Thank you for this challenge.
