Your child is involved in a fight with a friend at school. Should you get involved and fix the problem?

Sumanth, a nine-year old boy, gets into a small argument with his classmate, Naveen during lunch break. A fist fight breaks out and Naveen punches him. Sumanth gives no indication of this ‘lunch break fight’ to his teachers. Instead, he complains to his parents on returning home. Sumanth’s parents are livid with Naveen, his parents and the school. What follows is a ‘homely’ conversation for the next five minutes (in the presence of Sumanth).
