Class VI students from Global City International School, Bangalore, share their thoughts on Water Conservation on World Water Day (March 22).

On March 22, as we observed the World Water Day. We announced a poster making contest for young children. The initiative was to unite in our thoughts, and spread awareness on water conservation. We received some outstanding entries from the Global City International School, Bangalore. Their beautiful artworks conveyed the water emergency that we have created for ourselves with mismanagement, exploitation and pollution. With only 1% of usable fresh water in the world, it is indeed a resource to be conserved. And the younger generation seems to understand the urgency better. Time is short and we must act. Let's conserve water today, for them.
