Imagine climbing the world’s largest mountain in your teenage years. Sounds impossible? Arjun Vajpai did just that. On May 22, 2010, he became the youngest Indian to climb Mount Everest at the tender age of 16. Till date, he has scaled five of the top 14 highest peaks in the world, including Mount Cho Oyu, which he accomplished when he was just 23. While we celebrate his achievements and successes, it is important to realise that his path to success was filled with hurdles. In his book 'On Top Of The World: My Everest Adventure', co-authored with Anu Kumar, he talks about how his motivation and perseverance helped him overcome hurdles while ascending the Lhotse Wall. This is a truly inspiring story.
