Is your child simply rote-learning science concepts without fully understanding them? Here are some simple, fun science experiments that can be done at home with your child.

When eight-year-old Vianna comes home from school one Monday evening, she looks worried. Her mom, Leena, asks her, “Is everything okay?” Vianna replies, “Mom, my science teacher taught us about 'density’ today. But, I didn’t understand it properly. Tomorrow, she’s going to test us on this.” Her mom responds, "Don’t worry, Vianna. Let’s do a fun experiment that will help you clearly understand density." Vianna and her mom start gathering the materials to begin the experiment. They then do the ‘Rainbow In A Jar’ experiment to help Vianna understand the concept of density.
