Heat rash is the most common cause for concern among parents and children during summer. When constant wiping of the sweat and repeated application of prickly heat powder fail to bring relief, you realise that a simple cold-water bath is the best remedy. Give your child a shower to wash away all the dirt from the skin, eliminate fungus and bacteria, and prevent rashes, says Dr Ashwak Ahmad, Consultant Dermatologist at Apollo Cradle Hospital.
