How to purchase tickets for IPL 2019

The IPL matches will be held at various venues throughout India. If you love being a part of the crowd walking into the stadium to watch their favourite cricket stars in action, you can book your IPL tickets either online or offline. However, if you book online, for entering the stadium, you will need to show the entry pass, which will be given on producing the printout of the E-ticket at designated ticket counters. Those who want to purchase IPL tickets offline can do so from the counters at the stadium or dedicated outlets in the respective cities.

MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai

This year, the ticket price begins at Rs 3,500. However, the price may increase as the IPL season progresses.

M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore

For IPL 2019, the ticket prices start at Rs 2,002 for the Pillsbury A Stand and go up to Rs 38, 500 for the Wrogn Stand.

Tickets at this second oldest international cricket stadium of India are priced between Rs 850 and Rs 22,000.

IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali 

Tickets for matches to be held at this picturesque venue are priced between Rs 950 and Rs 7,500.

Tickets can be purchased from www.insider.in and Paytm. However, for entering the stadium, one needs to show the entry pass, which will be given on producing the printout of the E-ticket at designated ticket counters.

Offline:

Those who want to purchase tickets offline can do so from the counters at the stadium.

The IPL Teams

Back in December 2018, the eight teams gathered in the pink city, Jaipur, to bid for cricket players going under the hammer for IPL 2019. A total of 1,003 players had registered themselves for the auction, but only 351 could make it to the auction. Of these 351 players, 228 were Indians. Together, the eight teams spent a massive Rs 106.80 crore. Once the auction was over, the final list of IPL teams, squads and players was drawn up. Here's the list:

Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

Captained by the wily MS Dhoni, this is one of the most successful IPL teams. Not only has it won the tournament thrice, but also qualified to appear in the play-offs nine times and the finals seven times. So, what do you think? Will they win again this season?
