We've always lived a very simple, middle class life. My parents always encouraged me to work hard and believe in God and Karma. They taught me that there is no short cut to success. Their mantra has always been to struggle with a smile, and have faith that hard work and goodness always lead to success! These values have always kept me grounded and focussed on even the little things in work, and life in general. When life threw a few hiccups at me, these values helped me to get past them and come out stronger.
The biggest message I have for my son and children, in general, is - To work hard and believe that goodness always pays. One must never lose hope. Most importantly, to be successful, one has to be focussed and clear about what he needs to achieve. And, also be positive and patient in every situation.
