Let’s take two scenarios. Pranitha comes home from school looking tired and famished. “Amma, I’m hungry. I want something to eat now,” she says and slumps on the couch. Her mom returns from the kitchen in two minutes, with a plate of bread and jam. A visibly excited Pranitha grabs the plate and empties it in an ‘instant’. She feels better when her stomach is full.
