Summer breaks are a good time for children to relax and take a step back from the pressures of school. However, some of this fun time can also be structured through summer camps. Such camps provide opportunities for your child to engage in interesting activities and learn new skills in a systemic manner. For those of you staying in Pune, here are a few summer camps where your child can hang out this year.
Ages: 6 months to 5.5 years

Summer camp activities: Storytelling, gymnastics, puppetry, languages, dance and so on.

About the camp: Two different batches for toddlers and pre-schoolers. Toddlers get to have a batch on the weekends as well.
Ages: 5–14 years

About the camp: This camp is a part of the Chinmaya Mission — an organisation that aims to bring out the spirituality in people. Children can enhance their science, maths, musical and life skills at the camp.
Ages: 7 – 15 years

Summer camp activities: Learning about space exploration, planets and aeronautics.
Dates: 25th March – 29 March, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Fees: Rs 12,000
About the camp: STARBURST aims to spread more awareness amongst children about space and related topics. It attempts this through sparking the curiosity of students from the ages of seven to fifteen, when it believes they would be most open to learn about space.
Ages: 2 - 12 years
Location: Dot2Dot Kids, Elite Brookland
Summer camp activities: Dance, songs, taekwondo, shlokas, gardening, social awareness, art and craft, and so on.
Dates: 1- 13 April, 18-30 April, 6-17 May, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Fees: Rs. 2,000
About the camp: This is a preschool and a day-care centre focused on project-based learning. It even has learning centres to emphasise the focus on learning outcomes rather than test results.
